BED BUGS

Bed bugs are a growing problem world-wide, and they can affect anyone in any area. The weather really has no bearing on bed bug activity. They will hitchhike on coats, bags, clothing even shoes. Bed Bugs will make themselves at home in whatever new spot they are introduced. They can be found almost anywhere from homes, apartments or even 5 star hotels. No one is immune from the possibility of bringing bed bugs back into their home. Bed bugs should not be associated with cleanliness, or a lack there of, because they do not discriminate.

Bed Bugs are elusive and hide in cracks and crevices as a survival instinct. They will look for hiding spaces in and around areas where they have a food source. This means they are not limited to being in just the bed. They can and will hide in the headboard, dressers, closets, baseboards, outlets, behind pictures and many more spaces. If you have a bed bug infestation you may also find them in other living areas such as, couches, love seats, recliners and other upholstered furniture. If you bring a bed bug home with you it can take only 2 to 3 months for the problem to be in the hundreds at which point it you will need immediate treatment. Without treatment your bed bug population could be in the thousands by 6 months.
